The following is repetition of telegram from Secretary of State:-

March 27th. Orders-in-Council March 23rd taking effect

from that date further amends Prize Court Rules as follows:-

Order 9 Rule 1; omit words 'upon filing an affidavit' and substituting following words 'any party other than the

proper officer of the Crown' for words 'any other party'.

Order 11 Rule 1; omit words between word 'time' line

4 and word 'order' line 5.

Order 15 and following Rule 21 begins 'notwithstanding anything contained in these rules the proper offieer of the

Crown may apply to the Judge for leave to administer inter- rogatories for the examination of any person whether a Party to the cause or not'.

Order 29 as amended by Order-in-Council November 28th

is revoked and following substituted:- Rule 1 'where it is

made to appear to the Judge on the application of the proper officer of the Crown that it is desired to requisit-

ion on behalf of His Majesty a ship in respect of which no

final decree of condemnation has been made he shall order

that the ship shall be appraised and that upon an under-

taking being given in accordance with rule 5 of this Order

the ship shall be released and delivered to the Crow'

Rule 2 as former rule 2 excepting as follows:- For words down to 'thereof' line 2 substitute following words 'where a decree for the detention of a ship' also for words after 'issue' line 7 to the end of line 8 substitute upon an undertaking being given in accordance with rule 5 of this Order' also for words 'Lords of the Admiralty' on two occasions read 'Crow' and line 5 'desires' for 'desire'.
